Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Tally Wallet. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tally Wallet ("we", "our", or "us"). Your use of the application constitutes acceptance of these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
Tally Wallet is a personal expense-tracking application that allows you to log expenses by voice or manually, categorize spending, set budgets, generate reports, and optionally sync data across devices via a cloud account. The service is available on iOS and Android.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Tally Wallet. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent to use the service.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Tally Wallet for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to:
Creating an account is optional. If you sign in with Apple or Google to enable cloud sync, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@tallywallet.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Tally Wallet offers a free tier with limited daily entries and advertising. The free tier is available indefinitely at no cost.
Premium subscriptions (monthly and annual) unlock unlimited entries, remove ads, and enable additional features. Subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or Google Play subscriptions page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain premium access until then. We do not issue refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you in advance of any price change, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.
If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled beforehand.

All content, features, and functionality of Tally Wallet — including but not limited to the software, design, logos, text, and graphics — are the exclusive property of Tally Wallet and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements.
You retain full ownership of the data you enter into Tally Wallet (expense entries, notes, etc.). By using cloud sync, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for any purpose other than providing and improving the service.
TALLY WALLET IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Financial information generated by the app is for personal tracking purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TALLY WALLET AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if you have not made any payments.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tally Wallet and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
The app integrates with third-party services (Apple, Google, Supabase, Adapty, AdMob). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of any third-party service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Tally Wallet at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
If you are an EU resident, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory local consumer protection laws.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
